Modern painting systems, paint booths, and drying systems are required to meet far higher technical standards than in the past. New coating materials such as water-based paints, polyurethane resins, epoxy zinc dust, or epoxy iron mica place high demands on a fully developed paint booth system solution.
One of the key criteria is the transport of the workpiece into the paint booth and the subsequent processing steps. Our engineers provide expert guidance on all process requirements — whether dry separation or wet scrubbing of overspray, air humidification or air drying, condensation drying at low temperatures or hot-air drying.

Our systems also cover every step of the pre-treatment process, including high-pressure washing with water recirculation, compressed air blowing, or centrifuge-based pre-cleaning.

The main regulatory topics that must be addressed in painting systems include:

  • Ensuring safety in potentially explosive environments
  • Ensuring worker safety
  • Compliance with environmental protection regulations

Because explosive substances — such as mixtures of paint particles and air — are inherent to the painting process, they cannot be completely eliminated. Therefore, extensive measures are taken to address potential ignition sources. Even if electrical components (such as fans or lighting fixtures) that are exposed to cabin air are installed outside the cabin, all equipment must be ATEX-certified, explosion-proof (Ex-Proof) according to the applicable directives.

All fans, lighting fixtures, and other components used in NOX surface treatment facilities are our own production and are ATEX-certified. Additionally, the system contractually guarantees emission levels below the limits set by the Ministry of Environment.
